Pitchfork and Paste Place Nérija On Lists

Nérija‘s Blume is one of the best albums you may have overlooked over the summer, according to Pitchfork. The site calls the record “both familiar and refreshingly new,” writing that it “allows space for all their members’ distinct voices.” See the full list here. In its feature on notable vinyl releases from August 2019, which is here, Paste also notes the communalism on the LP. “Nérija puts the emphasis on their group dynamics,” writes Paste. “There are plenty of solos throughout, but none shoot for the moon or try to pull focus from the rest of the song and the rest of the band.”
