Chad Whitehead of KOSU in Tulsa also appreciated Gold Past Life in 2019, telling fan that it’s “exactly as great as all previous Fruit Bats releases” and putting it at number three on his Top Ten list, available here. Over at Riff Magazine, reviewer Rachel Goodman included “Gold Past Life” on her Top 25 list of best alt-rock and pop songs from the year.
