“There is a sense of true love for what they are creating that emanates from every song” on The Good Ones new LP, Rwanda, You Should Be Loved. That’s how Leo Pryor, a reviewer for Athens, GA radio station WUOG FM, describes the record in a recent review. According to Pryor, “The only explicitly credited contributions are guitar, vocals, and percussion. That refreshing simplicity shines through beautifully and creates an emotionally moving experience that is further enhanced with a small amount of background on the band… a Rwandan trio of impoverished farmers… all survivors of the Rwandan genocide in the nineties [who] have said that they use music to help heal.” Read the full review here.
Rwanda, You Should Be Loved has been #2 on the NACC World chart since the beginning of the year. We really appreciate all of the support from stations across the US and Canada. We’d really love to tell this group that they’ve hit #1 though – please help us get them over the line!
