Sunny War recently checked in with The 88.5fm KCSN, a station in Southern California. In a Zoom interview on the station's website, War tells DJ Mookie that she's doing something she never thought she'd do before – play frisbee at the park – in order to cope with Covid isolation. War doesn't play music during the 32-minute conversation, but she does share plenty of anecdotes and opines about her relationship with the "punk" label and how it relates to the music she plays and the path she's traveled.
