“Waste My Time,” the new video from Nick Leng, was filmed in the house where the South African-born, Los Angeles-based artist recorded his new LP LEMONS. According to Flaunt, which recently premiered the clip, “The video, direction by Avery Wheless, shows Leng navigating his favorite corners of his house, gingerly showing odd bits and bobs to the camera, or playing a well-worn piano.”
According to Leng, “[Avery and I] talked about shooting concepts and were all set to go, but within the next day I was notified that I had to abruptly move out of my beloved house where I worked on LEMONS and had so many incredible memories and experiences. I felt so inspired there and the incoming loss was leaving me quite devastated and stressed, so we said… lets just shoot something here. It doesn’t need to be fancy or have lots of prep. Lets just make something.” See the result right here.
