Pitchfork Gives Braids A 7.2 Score As Shadow Offering Hits #2 On The NACC Adds Chart

Pitchfork recently issued a 7.2 to Shadow Offering, the newest offering from Montréal-based trio Braids. The record, which comes five years after the band’s last album, Deep In The Iris, “is the start of a new chapter, one robust enough to hold the intense emotions in their lyrics… Shadow Offering evokes excess and mania with the hip-swinging rhythms of funk and new wave, packing each inch of the record with small inflections layered for the greatest possible impact.” Read the full review here!
