David Newton Shares Songs That Changed His Life On Dublab

David Newton, formerly of The Mighty Lemon Drops, is getting a lot of attention for his new project under the band name David Newton and Thee Mighty Angels. He was recently invited to do a guest set for dublab, the venerable Los Angeles underground radio institution. Newton says, "This show is called 'The Songs That Changed Our Lives.' It’s the title of a song I just released with my new band David Newton & Thee Mighty Angels & features Eddie Argos from Art Brut on lead vocals. It’s basically a “list” song of some of Eddie & I’s all-time favorite records, & on this show I will be playing the songs / records listed, everything from Jackson 5 to The Mekons to Richard & Linda Thompson to Jonathan Richman." Listen here.
