CV Independent Interviews L.A. Witch
“While many bands struggle to develop a sound that is both unique and comfortingly familiar,” The Coachella Valley Independent writes, “L.A. Witch seems to do it with ease.” The site recently interviewed the LA-based three-piece, whose sophomore release Play With Fire has been getting tons of radio love. The band is used to touring incessantly, so 2020 has been quite a change. Yet the band recently did a streamed concert at Gold Diggers in Los Angeles, and singer/guitarist Sade Sanchez told CV Independent that, “For me, when I was playing, it felt like a real show. I don’t know if that was a mental thing, where I was knowing that people were going to watch it. There are some mistakes on there. I don’t know if people can hear it, but there’s a rawness to it. We tried to make it fun and brought out a dragon prop we bought at Costco. It was kind of cool and interesting, and we’d be down to continue experimenting and trying it out.”
