Braids’ New Singles Earn The Approval of Stereogum and Guitar World

According to Stereogum, both of the new Braids tracks we recently serviced to radio – “Slayer Moon” and “2020” – “tap into the same sort of cascading, high-stakes melodrama that [last year’s LP] Shadow Offering excelled at.” Check them out here.

Guitar World says “Slayer Moon” is an “essential” guitar track, writing that “Raphaelle Standell-Preston’s serrated lead guitar stabs – a touch discordant, but never to the point of being overly abrasive or ugly – are the perfect counterpoint to the song’s rich synth and keyboard textures, and all told make for a fascinating tune.” Check out their full list here, and give either “Slayer Moon” or “2020” a spin this week!
