Americana UK says Fruit Bats’ “The Balcony,” from new LP The Pet Parade, “is a song about patience in isolation, waiting for the world to change while staring out at an empty street.” The site has the video for the song, which was made by the band’s Eric D. Johnson and his wife Annie, who says, “We created an alternate world—in our basement—where crowded clubs, real live crushes, and chance encounters still exist.’” Enjoy the video here.
