Making Waves Talks To Fruit Bats And Annie Beedy About Art and More

Making Waves, a podcast about “the art of music,” recently spoke to Fruit Bats’ Eric D. Johnson and his wife and creative collaborator, photographer Annie Beedy, who “talk all about their work together that pairs his music with her vivid documentary-style photography.” They’re also joined by Daniel Murphy, who serves as the art director for Merge Records. The podcast goes “behind the art of the music and talk through Annie’s photography, how it connects with Eric’s music, how Eric thinks about the artwork that represents his body of work, the making of stories and themes of the new album, and how Daniel Murphy puts the puzzle pieces together for incredible packaging.” Listen here.

The newest album from Fruit Bats, The Pet Parade, is at radio now.
