Schwey, Among KCRW’s Favorites of 2021, Chats With Georgia Straight

We love Schwey, and apparently we’re not alone. The Vancouver-based band’s new LP Schwey 2: Cyber Soul is getting love at radio, including from Morning Becomes Eclectic Co-Host Anthony Valadez. The longtime KCRW DJ says he can’t “believe the progression within each song and into the next,” writing that the LP “feels like the perfect mixtape to compliment your summer — and quite possibly the fall and winter, too.” See the full list of 2021 favorites, picked by all the KCRW DJs, here.
