FLOOD has a track-by-track rundown of Combo Chimbita‘s IRÉ featuring insights from the band. Released in January the record has been taking the radio world by storm. As FLOOD says, it “channels two years of pent-up energy into playful Afro-Caribbean rhythms and psych-cumbia textures with the resulting record proving to be considerably more fun than most others of its ilk.
