Indie 88 Shares Gus Englehorn’s Origin Story

Indie 88 FM has coverage of Gus Englehorn‘s new expository video. “Directed by Estée Prada (Gus’ wife and drummer), A Brief History of Gus Englehorn sees the artist showing off his skills from when he used to be a professional snowboarder,” the station’s website explains. Prada says, “I thought it would be fun to shoot a documentary on film after watching Ladies and Gentlemen… Mr. Leonard Cohen. The whole Canadian Film Board archive is a real treasure trove of inspiration. Originally, we were going to get a friend to narrate, but the city was in lockdown so Gus had to do it himself – it turned out to be the funniest part.” See the film here.

Englehorn’s Dungeon Master is out April 29 from Secret City Records. Advance singles “The Gate,” “Tarantula,” and “Exercise Your Demons” are at radio now. Englehorn and Prada will be performing these shows next month:

5/6 – Quebec, QC – Le Scanner
5/7 – Montréal, QC – L’Esco
5/14 – Toronto, ON – The Baby G
