Pluralone Speaks With A Journal Of Musical Things

In a recent interview for A Journal of Musical Things, Pluralone’s Josh Klinghoffer gave the backstory of the project’s name. “I must have just been sitting around one night and smashed those words together,” he says. “And it reminds me of plurality and singularity, and the fact that you’re smashing those two words together to make one. I think it was a high-minded concept at the time, it seemed to me that we are always trying from a singular place to find plurality. Or, we are a plurality and we should be striving for a unity, so yeah, it’s kind of high minded, and it’s almost embarrassing to say, but I think it’s true in a lot of ways.” Learn much more from Klinghoffer with the full interview, here.
