Wesleyan Argus Interviews WESU About June McDoom

Last month, WESU presented a June McDoom concert at WestCo Cafe in Middletown, Connecticut. The Wesleyan Argus caught up with WESU music directors Clara Martin and Sam Rapkiewicz in advance of the show and got their take on McDoom’s self-titled EP. When the June McDoom EP was released, I was blown away,” Rapkiewicz told the Argus in an email, continuing, “my co-music director, Clara Martin, listened to it as well, and felt the same way…. I just thought June McDoom was really great and so did all of the other board members…. [W]e figured, who wouldn’t like her?
