Matt Holubowski Plays “Sandy Cove” For La Blogothéque

Matt Holubowski recently filmed a live rendition of his song “Sandy Cove” for La Blogothéque. The site writes, “Matt Holubowski’s songs are like a calm refuge. He wrote ‘Sandy Cove’ on that very beach in Nova Scotia as the sun set. Stripped down of its cinematic instrumentation, this version he played for us in the streets of Paris is really close to the way it sounded when it first emerged on his acoustic guitar. The song is about witnessing someone dear to you self-destruct and being helpless about it. ‘And when I see you lying there / What is it I should do’. A dreamy meditation that is enhanced by a delicate motif of descending notes that might haunt you for a while.” See the clip here.
