Jared Jones Praises June McDoom For Father/Daughter Records
Father/Daughter Records asked some friends at the end of 2023 to send them their favorite tracks of the year, and Winspear’s Jared Jones wrote about June McDoom’s Judee Sill cover, “Emerald River Dance,” from her new EP With Strings. Jones wrote, “I first heard June McDoom last year and have been eagerly awaiting more new music from her since her 2022 EP. I got the chance to see her with a string quartet this summer in Brooklyn, where she played this song live.
