Particle Kid Goes To Guitar World

Micah Nelson – Willie Nelson‘s son, who also goes by the moniker Particle Kid – was recently interviewed by Guitar World about recently becoming a member of Neil Young‘s band Crazy Horse. Fans of Young and Nelson will be stoked to read about how Micah has integrated his sound into the legendary band. He also speaks about his own sound, and the artists that have inspired him. “I could take apart every one of my songs and be like, ‘Here’s a little Radiohead,’ and, ‘There’s a bit of Animal Collective,'” he explains. “But I can also pick them apart and say, ‘There’s some Bob Dylan.’ All the influences are there, and that’s the fun of what makes things what they are. Man, it’s just fun to explore. That type of thing is endless and will never stop, no matter what I’ve done or what I’m doing.” Read the feature here.
