The Heaviest Of Art has an interview with (the) Melvins’ Buzz Osborne, as well as longtime producer Toshi Kasai, about the new Melvins LP Tarantula Heart. According to Osborne, “We found [Kasai] a long time ago, I guess in the early 2000s, and it just clicked. He gets what we’re doing. He liked us immediately because we met him and he was an engineer at a studio that we’ve booked. He said we’re the only band that didn’t bring in other people’s records and say, ‘This is what we want to sound like.'” Read all about it right here.
