It’s Psychedelic Baby has an interview with Greg Lisher, and it’s full of insights and details about Lisher’s long musical career as a guitarist in Camper Van Beethoven. There are a lot of nuggets for CVB fanatics in the interview, along with content about how Lisher created his new solo album Underwater Detection Method. It’s an instrumental, largely-electronic affair, and Lisher explains, “I was constantly surprising myself with things I never intentionally started out trying to do. That’s what the majority of the whole record is. It was also kind of like riding a wave. I was never sure where it was going to take me but would just continue to ride it, and usually be surprised by where I would end up.”
