Leif Vollebekk Visits World Café

NPR has posted Leif Vollebekk’s recent World Café performance, during which he “talks about how he wrote such a peaceful album [his JUNO-nominated LP, Revelation] during a very tumultuous time. He also talks about songwriting, being inspired by the physical world and what it was like working with an orchestra.” Additionally, Vollebekk plays five songs from the record, which “feels like taking a deep breath, a long walk in the woods or a beautiful afternoon nap in the sun.” It’s at radio now from Secret City, and Vollebekk’s performance is here.
