Scene Point Blank Says Springhouse’s Songs Shine

In 2009, Scene Point Blank reviewed the original release of Springhouse’s From Now To OK. The site describes the set as “twelve songs full of rich textures and somber moods [with] somber arrangements, swirling harmonies, and just a plain old fashioned emphasis on making the songs shine.” The review compares the band’s sound to Guided By Voices, The Church, Ride, and Catherine Wheel.
