New Music From Group Project

Montréal’s Group Project is everything one could wish for in a group: a song-making machine that blends folk rhythms, funky basslines, rock ‘n’ roll guitars, electronic percussion and synthesizers to create a distinctive take on alternative pop music with haunting and catchy lyrics. The group began in 2015 when Jeremy Harbec met Jacob Brown and they began experimenting with EDM and Pop beats in Harbec’s bedroom studio. In 2016, the duo started releasing songs on SoundCloud and connected with Alex Remington.

“Mountain Dew,” “Take Me Home,” and “Bound To Lose” are three anthemic pop-rock tracks from their forthcoming and highly anticipated debut album, Here Now, out May 23 via Spectra Musique.

“A sound that mixes folk and pop to create bright, bouncy songs with infectious choruses.” -CBC
