Springhouse’s Jack Rabid Gets Into Music With KMUW
KMUW’s Jedd Beaudoin has an Into Music feature with Jack Rabid, who readers may know as the founder, editor, and publisher of The Big Takeover. Rabid is also a founding member of Springhouse, a band at radio now with the new reissue of their “majestic 2008 album titled From Now To OK which didn’t raise Springhouse’s profile but did leave music lovers with a lasting collection of memorable and moving songs.” The feature includes “awide-ranging conversation, discussing a seemingly endless stream of bands as well as the perils of the music industry, the enduring power of music, and why he’s still angry with Capitol Records for what they did to all those Beatles albums.”
