AndersonVision Sees Alison Clancy

AndersonVision has coverage of “The Valley,” a new single out now from Alison Clancy via Independent Project Records. “The Valley,” writes the site, “is hazy, piano-driven, ghostly… Clancy’s voice is thin but sharp, like a flicker of light on wet pavement. The track builds slow but never explodes — tension replaces resolution.”
The site says the track is “equal parts emotional hypnosis and deliberate hesitation. It’s the kind of song where you’re not sure if she’s asking a question or giving up on the answer.” Check it out here.
