Patrick Watson Collaborates With Charlotte Cardin
Patrick Watson has recently released several advance singles from Uh Oh, his upcoming album due September 26 from Secret City Records. Inspired by a period during which Watson lost his voice, it features several guest vocalists. “Gordon In the Willows” has Charlotte Cardin, who won Artist of the Year at the 2022 Juno Awards and with whom Watson last partnered for her 2023 track “Next To You.” Cardin says, “A few months ago, Patrick played me a piano piece—just the music, no words—and the moment I heard it, it felt like the whisper of an old friend.”
