Goldmine Praises ORG’s Funkadelic Treatment

Goldmine has coverage of the newest Funkadelic reissue that’s been remastered and rereleased by Westbound Records in conjunction with ORG Music. “As is protocol with regard to everything that ORG Music puts out, there is always a deep dive into attention to detail. This release and ‘all’ of the variants that accompany this album campaign were sourced not digitally, but were all pulled from the original analog studio masters, straight from the Westbound vaults. The original master tapes were carefully and accurately restored by restoration specialist Catherine Vericolli and assisted by studio engineer Nick King. Then, industry great, Dave Gardner at DSG Mastering, waved his magic wand and provided each of the album formats with world-class remastering all to the tune of perfection (which is something that Gardner has become revered for).”
