Rolling Stone Enjoys Fruit Bats’ New Release

According to Rolling Stone, the new Fruit Bats album The Landfill “explores the unglamorous bits that make up the human story on a record that bristles with live energy.” The venerable magazine has a review of the new LP, which was just released via Merge Records. “On this 10-track collection,” RS writes, “Johnson is as adept at deconstructing melodies as he is platitudes.
