GULFF Announces Listening Party and LP Details

GULFF is a duo that, according to member Tod Lippy, “formed to create music, art, and public interventions that engage with the ruptures of our current era.” They are releasing their self-titled debut album next week, and celebrating on Thursday, September 24 with a listening party in the Sound Room at Public Records in Brooklyn. Lippy will be joined virtually by his collaborator Owain Kelly, who will be dialing in from Manchester. All attendees must RSVP to hello@gulffonline.com.

As Lippy noted in recent Franklin Furnace newsletter, here, vinyl copies of the album will be available at the event. “This first GULFF edition comes with a signed-and-numbered 11 x 8.5” archival digital C-print, a 20 x 23” poster, a sticker, and facsimiles of notes taken by Owain and me during production. It will also include a custom flash drive with uncompressed files of the album’s 10 tracks, all of my demo versions, a special ambient composition by Owain, audio stems for DIY mixing, and an ‘Archive’ folder with digital files related to our creative process.”
